Importance of Small Groups :

Life Groups are small communities of six to twelve people that meet weekly or bi-weekly in homes throughout Hillsborough and the surrounding area for Bible study, prayer, worship, fellowship, encouragement and service.  Joining a Life Group is the best way to form friendships and receive pastoral care at Rivertown. Groups are be led by members of the congregation who are given oversight and support by the pastoral staff.

The Bible tells us to encourage one another, serve one another, rejoice and weep with one another, correct, instruct, build up, accept and love one another. There is no better way to put oneself in a position to fulfill these commands than by joining yourself to others who desire to experience the same things.
