Stacey Cox is the planting pastor of Rivertown Presbyterian Church.
He has served churches in both North and South Carolina, most recently serving as Associate Pastor at Grace Church (PCA) in
Harrisburg, NC. He has also served as a chaplain for Michael Waltrip Racing. A graduate of Clemson
University (BA/MS) and Southeastern Seminary (M.Div. with Biblical Languages), Stacey is currently pursuing a D.Min.
at Erskine Seminary. He and his wife, Allison, have three children: Anna, Seth, and Jessi. When
Stacey isn’t at the church you might find him fly fishing on a trout stream, at a Clemson sporting event, jogging,
or reading at a local coffee shop.

Jen &
her husband DJ have been married for 10 years. They have 2 children; Madelynn & Ryan. They are both originally
from Ohio and arrived in North Carolina in 2005. Although new to the area her gift to "care" for children
has been life-long. She brings a passion for God and and urgency to encourage, equip and guide children in all areas
of development so that they will come to know Christ and have a personal enduring connection with Him. She considers
it a true privilege to serve in such a joyous ministry and to be blessed with the ability to connect with children!!!

Jake Roper

Jake
Roper hails from the mountains of western NC and is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a BS in Music Industry.
Previously Jake worked as a church planter in the Charlotte metro area and most recently as an outfitter and professional
river guide before coming to Rivertown. He plays Tacoma guitars and is partial to JBL speakers with Crown amplifiers.
He has two albums under his belt, "Alive", and "Generation." Upon settling in Hillsborough and discovering
he couldn't make trout fishing or smallmouth fishing a part of his daily routine, Jake has enrolled in a recovery program
to get over his withdrawal symptoms from lack of fishing time.
